From your first enquiry to final handover, here's exactly what happens and when.

Nothing gets built until you've agreed the design, size, glazing and finish with us in writing. Before that, we'll have visited your garden to check access, ground conditions and anything that could affect the build — so installation day itself holds no surprises for either of us.

Access is assessed at the survey stage, not guessed at on the day. Narrow side passages, gates, steps and shared driveways all affect how materials and equipment reach the build area, and we plan the delivery route around your property rather than assuming a standard approach will work.

The right foundation depends on your ground conditions and the size of the room, from a concrete base to a raised timber or screw-pile foundation. This is settled before the main structure arrives, so the build proceeds on solid, level ground rather than being adjusted on the fly.

A straightforward garden pod or small office can often be built within a few days once groundworks are complete. Larger or more complex rooms — with additional glazing, storage sections or plumbing — take longer. We'll give you a realistic timeframe as part of your quote, not an optimistic one that slips once work starts.

Once the build is complete, we walk through the finished room with you against what was agreed at design stage — checking doors, windows, electrics and finish. Anything that needs adjusting is addressed before we consider the job done, not left for you to chase up afterwards.
